Late afternoon we meet at the airport for our flight to Sydney and ongoing to Cook Islands. After our overnight flight and crossing the International Dateline, we arrive into Rarotonga at 7.00am on Tuesday morning and transfer to our hotel for check-in and enjoy some leisure time and rest. Tonight we regather to enjoy dinner in the resort.

Day 2. Wed 30 Jul: Rarotonga - Orientation Tour - Breakfast, Light Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast we enjoy an Orientation Tour of Rarotonga with a stop at the Rarotonga Brewery where we will be given a short tour to learn about their humble brewing process and the option to sample the local beer. We return to the resort for an afternoon at our own leisure, before joining for dinner at the resort.

Day 3. Thur 31 Jul: Rarotonga - School Visit - Progressive Dinner - Breakfast & Dinner
Today we visit a local school for a special experience. Take a tour of the school, meet the teachers and school children, enjoy morning tea and experience how the children spend their day. This is a great opportunity to give back to the Island by providing the children with much needed school supplies - further details to be provided. We return to the resort for an afternoon at our own leisure before our “Progressive Dinner” where we are treated to traditional island cooking as we progress to three different Island homes for entrée, main course and dessert. A fun night and a good way to meet the local people and sample some of the fine local Island dishes – quality is assured.

Day 4. Fri 1 Aug: Rarotonga - Captain Tama’s Lagoon Cruise - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast this morning we head off on our Captain Tama’s Lagoon Cruise. Listen to the drums before boarding our vessel to get a view of the wonderful marine life in Rarotonga’s lagoons through a glass bottom boat or snorkel with the fish (snorkels and flippers supplied). We disembark for lunch and relax on our own uninhabited island to enjoy a delightful beach BBQ and truly entertaining show. Mid-afternoon we return by glass bottom boat to the beach hut and make our way back along the beach to our hotel. Tonight we enjoy dinner at the resort.

Day 5. Sat 2 Aug: Rarotonga - Local Markets - Te Ara Museum - Te Vara Polynesian Village - Breakfast & Dinner
After a leisurely breakfast we enjoy Rarotonga’s Saturday Punanga Nui Market which offers a wide range of island gifts and handicrafts, pearls, pearl shell jewellery, clothing, local music and fresh local produce. This afternoon at the Te Ara Museum we will enjoy a short tour and view their world-class exhibition of the history of the Cook Islands (Rarotonga). After a relaxing afternoon we are in for a treat tonight at the Te Vara Nui Polynesian Village for the “Ultimate Island Experience”, the biggest show in Rarotonga. Watch dancers and musicians perform while enjoying a delicious blend of traditional and modern cuisine as we watch the show unfold. This is a ‘must do’ experience not to be missed.

Day 6. Sun 3 Aug: Rarotonga - Sydney (Flight details subject to change - out of date range)
We have an early departure today, with checkout complete, we transfer to the airport for our homeward bound flight. Sadly the time has come to depart this beautiful island and the happy friendly Cook Islanders after a memorable time on the Cook Islands with Trade Travel.

Day 7. Mon 4 Aug: Arrive Sydney - Home Port (Flight details subject to change - out of date range)
We arrive back into Sydney at 12.30pm today and transfer to our onward connection to Home Port.
