Singapore has reinvented itself as one of Southeast Asia’s most modern, vibrant cities and is one of the most popular tourist destinations visited. Located at the southern tip of the Malaysian Peninsular, Singapore is a perfect blend of the east and the west, with an interesting cultural mix of Chinese, Malay and European influences. Singapore is a mouth-watering feast of flavours from the ‘Hong Kong’ wet markets and malls of Chinatown to the ‘Mumbai’ street scenes of Little India.

Experience world-class shopping at designer malls of Orchard Road or escape the hustle and bustle with a visit to Singapore Botanic Gardens or the awe-inspiring Gardens by the Bay, complete with “supertrees” and two colossal plant domes. Singapore’s other traditional attractions include Marina Bay Sands, the three-towered skyscraper that now stands as Singapore’s centrepiece and the iconic Raffles Hotel , still standing proud more than 125 years after being built and has welcomed some of the most famous personalities from celebrities, politicians and members of Royalty, such as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Singapore Zoological Gardens set in a rainforest environment and is home to more than 2,800 specimens from over 300 species. Highlights include white tigers, elephants, and the first polar bear born in the tropics, Komodo dragons, many species of primates, you can also meet a family of Orang-Utans during breakfast in the zoo’s Children’s World section.
